How is the treatment tolerated by patients?

Our Sublime and Sublative treatments are well tolerated by most patients without any topical anesthetic or other means of analgesia, but topical anesthetic may be used.

During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters their skin. After treatment a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is also common. Topical anesthetic ointments and cooling may be used to reduce discomfort during treatment.
